Don’t think the phrase “train of thought” to be said in error. By this point in Faewalk’s history (which was currently in its eighth-and-a-half age), trains were old news. Even though the Unfounded remained stubbornly locked in the feudal age, the nations of the Nest had long passed the Steamgear revolution, so while trains had been around for quite some time they were actually in the decline, being replaced by steam-powered airships.
