Ann McDowell Wagner is, by day, an educator, school leader, and professor. A self-declared citizen of the world, she has lived in China, Cambodia, and Ethiopia. She admits that she has ventured to a few places overseas she probably shouldn’t have, but don’t tell her mother. Currently stateside, she splits her time between Los Angeles and Maryland, plotting her next escapade. Ann’s work centers on intersections, often informed by her fantastical encounters abroad and situational musings. She is relieved to release these wacky ideas from her brain and place them into the heads of others.
