Sharnta Bullard is an African American poet. She started writing poetry at a very young age. Her first poem was published at age eleven. She has published poems in multiple anthologies. Sharnta was also selected as a finalist for the 36th Tennessee Williams & New Orleans Literary Festival. Additionally, she is a United States Air Force retiree and has a master’s degree in Human Service Counseling. She is an advocate of helping people find their why and voice.
